A Lucite acrylic and abalone seashell trivet, circa mid-20th century, 1960s, USA. This vintage trivet is round with lucite/acrylic encase abalone seashells, finished with three small feet on bottom. The abalone seashells, with beautiful iridescence, are from the Pacific Ocean.
