Handbuilt Candle Holder (by me)

This candle holder was handbuilt by me for one of my classes under professor Mathew Groves, at Loyola. It’s composed of four flat pieces that merge together through some carvings on the clay. It’s almost like a puzzle when you put it together. They were inspired by the original tiles found in Chicago’s two- and three-flat brick buildings.
